This bucket holds up to 5 gallons of used household* nicotine e-cigarettes and vapes. One low fee covers the collection bucket, shipping, device recycling, and nicotine pod disposal. Program-compliant vape devices are recycled, and nicotine pods are disposed of through incineration as required by law. Devices that do not meet the program acceptance criteria may not be eligible for recycling through this program. 

This container should only be used for nicotine e-cigarettes and used vape devices generated by households and individual consumers, and not for commercial inventory, manufacturing waste, recalled products, or other business-generated waste in compliance with 40 CFR § 261.4(b)(1). Customers are responsible for determining whether their waste qualifies for the HHW exemption under applicable laws.
