Great investment
Absolutely love that I can recycle almost everything that can't go in my normal recycle bin or donation center. From old/torn socks, the plastic film new pillow sheets come in, to random toys. I recycle my kids bath toys and some pool floaties. Although, I'm a bit bummed they raised the price on these.

I am a little obsessed with recycling and was amazed how much fit into the box. My community has a pretty good recycling program, but I have struggled with what to do with those odd bags, plastics and packaging that my recycling center won’t accept. Being the daughter of a hoarder, and having a bit of the hoarding gene myself, this has helped me discard things that I can’t donate and can’t be easily recycled. I would be great to have feedback from Terracycle as to what shouldn’t be sent in future (like a report card).

FYI Most grocery stores will take the plastic overwrap these boxes are wrapped in and recycle it for free along with plastic bags—just put it in the bin near the front of the store. Ideally, these wouldn’t come wrapped in plastic, but at least we don’t have to take up precious space in our boxes with it. I am in the position of being able to afford to pay for these boxes, not because I am rich, but because I make it a priority. I don’t watch TV, own a fancy car, or go on any vacations, and I feel like it is worth it to spend the money I might be spending on those things to save my household trash from being buried in the soil where we all need to grow our food. There are many hidden costs to throwing trash in landfills, and we will be paying them later if we aren’t already. I do hope this becomes more accessible, as I realize what a privilege it is to be able to afford this service.

I use Kuerig and knowing ican send the small plastic cups as well as some styrofoam for recycling eases the guilt of use if them .
