A Second Life for Beauty Packaging
At TerraCycle®, we don't see ‘waste’. Instead we see unwanted resources needing a new purpose, or as we say, a second life! We’re incredibly proud to offer a sustainable solution with these eco-conscious, recycled products.

Beautiful inside and out, this unique soap holder is made from approximately 4 pieces of beauty packaging including hand cream tubes, moisturiser pots, pumps, makeup wipe packets and more! We guarantee you can’t find a more fabulous use for complex plastic packaging.  

The Creation Process

• First designed and made for TerraCycle® in a small workshop in France
• The beauty packaging is cleaned
• Then shredded into plastic flakes - this is where the beautiful colours and unique composition comes from, so no soap holder is ever the same
• The plastic flakes are heated and compressed
• The material solidifies and is cut into individual pieces
• The pieces are assembled together, to create the soap holder and voila! the process is complete

By choosing recycled, you’re closing the loop on one-time use and disposability. Resources can keep circulating and never be wasted. In fact, this product can be recycled at the end of its life and used again and again. 

Without being collected by the TerraCycle® community, this packaging would’ve been destined for landfill or incineration. The soap holders tell an incredible story and demonstrate how unwanted resources can be thoughtfully re-designed, full of purpose and a brilliant alternative that lasts a lifetime.

NB: Please be aware, due to the composition of the recycled materials used to create each product, the items you receive may be visually different from the ones photographed. This could mean they are somewhat darker or lighter, or include different flecks of colour.
